About our team

who we are. how we started.

Our team started doing private money loans in 2008 when conventional banks with a ‘liquidity crisis’ significantly reduced the availability of funding to real estate investors. While market conditions have changed since then (and will continue to change again), we continue to help real estate investors by providing capital through our specialized team.

Muletown is a nickname for the self-proclaimed ‘mule capital of the world,’ Columbia, TN. We have had a significant lending presence in Columbia, and continue to have a number of loans and properties there.

Although our name is inspired by Columbia, we continue to serve the Colorado and Tennessee markets while also offering loans in other specific markets as well.
